This is one of those moments were I fear I haven't made it clear what's going on.
In case anyone wants to ask, the '12a' in the title does mean their will be a 'b' part. (Maybe even a 'c' ) The whole joke was too long to fit in one strip. It might be a little obvious how this will continue. I'll try to finish as quickly as I can.
Don;t tell me this wouldn't work as the two princesses have different silhouettes. This is a cartoon. Things don't need to be logical.
EDIT: Damn! I forgot this is supposed to be a 2 on 2 team battle. That's why the characters are in alternate colors.

*my only critique is that bowser might have a long umm, nose?, on the second last picture. But it could also just be your stile, I'm not sure..*
